The Herons played well in the first game of the YSCC Tournament, advancing against Central Maine Community College. The team was led by Collin Burleigh and Bryce Smith offensively while Christian Dow and Aaron Pomeroy handled pitching duties for the Herons.
The Herons couldn't get their bats going in the 2nd game of the day though and fell to eventual YSCC Champion, Southern Maine Community College. Brandon Sargent pitched two solid innings to start the game before passing pitching duties off to a committee of pitchers Dow, Pomeroy & Burleigh.
