Amelia Sheedy, who was already name YSCC Softball Player of the Week during week two has now earned Player of the Week for Volleyball. Sheedy, a senior outside hitter, of Berwick had a spectacular performance this weekend for the Herons. She dominated on the court throughout the weekend on the road. She had over 29 kills, 17 service aces, and 21 digs. Amelia led the team in kills and service aces. Her infectious, positive attitude and intensity assisted the team in winning 4 straight games this over the weekend. The Herons did not lose one set this weekend, making this road win-streak even more remarkable. Amelia has improved her game tremendously this season and she really brought her game to a new level this past weekend.
