Wilson's 12 3-pointers lift Great Bay to wild win

PAUL SMITHS, N.Y. — Colby Wilson made 12 3-pointers and finished with 40 points, and the Great Bay Community College men's basketball team picked up a wild first win of the season Saturday, rallying from a six-point deficit late in regulation before finishing off Paul Smith's College, 138-133, in overtime.

The game was tied 117-117 after regulation and the Herons (1-4) scored 21 points during the 4-minute overtime period. Dylan Derosier had 25 points, Conner Bradway had 14 points and 24 rebounds, the Herons got other monster games from Marcus Penna (22 points, 16 assists) and Tyler White (26 points, 17 assists).

Caleb Gendron made two key steals late in regulation that helped Great Bay force overtime, and Tim Bradley III made four consecutive free throws during the extra period to ice the game.

"It was a complete-team win," first-year coach Sean Young said.
