The Herons hosted a strong opponent in Vermont Tech, nationally ranked 5^th in the USCAA standings, on Thursday night. Struggling early in the game, the Herons found themselves down by double-digits, but found a way to battle back going into the half only down 35-33. The Herons surpassed VTC with numerous contributions- led by Wes Falzarano, who connected on 10/12 from the field for 27 points to go with 10 rebounds in the game. George Mortimer tallied 26 points and 11 rebounds. Dylan Derosier was just the spark that the Herons needed off the bench, who finished the contest with 14 points and 4 rebounds. The Herons took a 15 point lead in the second half and were able to hold off VTC's late game push, as the Herons finished the game on top 96-93.
