Coach Zach enters his 2nd season as the Herons lead Assistant coach for the 2020-2021 season.

He comes to GBCC having spent four seasons as Oyster River High School’s JV Head Coach and Varsity Lead Assistant Coach. During the 2017-2018 season, the Varsity team competed in the NHIAA D2 Championship game. The following 2018-2019 season, the Varsity team posted a 16-2 record which earned them the #1 seed leading into the playoffs. During his tenure at ORHS, three players earned All-State honors in the division.

Prior to ORHS, Coach Zach was a Hoop Coach for Integrity Hoops’ basketball skills camps and off-season programs. Within this role, he worked with athletes ranging in ages 12-18. During this time, Coach Zach was the Head Coach of the NH Renegades 14U AAU team.

Coach Zach is a 2014 graduate of Saint Joe’s College of Maine where he obtained a Bachelor’s in English Literature, in addition to a Minor in both Secondary Education and Environmental Science.

He is a 2010 graduate from Oyster River High School.
