Great Bay Women's Volleyball compete in USCAA National Tournament in Virginia Beach, VA.

Going into their first game, the Lady Herons were matched up against 2018 USCAA Division 2 defending Champions Johnson & Whales Charlotte. Ashley Tanguay led the team in kills with 9 and also had 3 digs, while Emily Brashear played well defensively with 4 digs. Setter Nikki Flanagan had 12 assists, 1 kill, and 1 block. The Lady Herons came out fighting playing their best, however Johnson & Whales Charlotte took all three matches 25-14, 25-9, and 25-7. 

 

On day two, the Lady Herons were matched up against Penn State Fayette. Again, Ashley Tanguay led the team in kills with 9, along with 7 digs, and Emily Brashear again exemplified her consistent standout offensive and defense with 1 kill, 4 digs, and 3 service points. Setter Nikki Flanagan had 15 assists, 13 digs, and 1 Ace. In addition, Marisa Stuart and Morgan Cunningham, both had 1 serving ace. The Lady Herons gave it their all, but ultimately fell to Penn State Fayette, now the 2019 USCAA Division II champions 25-16, 25-13, 25-15.
