SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE - January 17, 2024] – The Great Bay Community College Herons traveled to South Portland, Maine, for a  YSCC Conference basketball game against the Southern Maine Community College Seawolves. Despite a valiant effort, the Herons faced a tough matchup, ultimately losing with a final score of 77 to 64.

Despite facing a challenging opponent, the Herons showcased their skill and tenacity on the court. The team's performance reflected a field goal percentage of 40.6%, a three-point percentage of 30.3%, and a perfect free throw percentage of 100.0%. 

The Herons faced a tough opponent in SMCC, and while the final score didn't go in their favor, much effort and determination was displayed by all the players. The Great Bay Community College Herons and their supporters and look forward to future matchups as they strive for success in the YSCC Conference.
