PORTSMOUTH — The Great Bay women's basketball team hosted the Rams of Unity College in Maine. It was the inaugural game for the Lady Herons, who won the contest 65-27.
Farmington's Ashley Lambert scored the very first two points in program history while Portsmouth's Markey Flewelling was the top scorer with 33 followed by Monique Dandridge (9), Ashley Lambert (8) and Nichole Marrero (8).
The Herons visit Quinsigamond Community College on Tuesday.
