Herons compete in first outdoor meet of the year

After losing a few athletes to inury and illness the Herons still had a couple of student-athletes travel up to Standish, Me to compete in the Monks Invite on Saturday, April 15th.  

Competing for the Herons was first year sprinter from Portsmouth, NH Ahmed Nada who finished 9th with a time of 11:95 in the 100 Meter Dash.  

Also competing, was returning student-athlete, Olivia Delay who finished 38th out of 56 throwers in Discus with a distance of 22.8 meters.
